The Big Dog House is an upscale Pet Boarding Facility located on 9 beautifully wooded country acres just 3 miles north of the intersection of Highway 380 and Highway 377 in Aubrey, Texas.

Our management lives on the property allowing for constant on-site supervision of all of its guests!
Our services include boarding for a variety of pets, grooming and day care.
Our owner, Lorrie Buckingham has been an animal lover all of her life.
She was originally from Illinois and moved to Texas in 1994 and started a mobile grooming business. She always had higher aspirations of opening a professional, state of the art kennel for dogs and cats. In 2003 she found the perfect location in Aubrey Texas and construction on THE BIG DOG HOUSE began. It took six months to clear the property and build the first kennel. Upon hiring her staff and recruiting her Mother from Illinois she opened her doors to the public. A few short years passed and the facility reached capacity and Lorrie had to open a second state of the art kennel to handle her growing list of happy boarders.
